Your adventure will be customized specific to your personal requests, and can even be changed as the tour evolves! You will be treated to personalized one-on-one service!
Our starting location is 25 km NE of Liberia at the base of Volcan Santa Maria with easy access to Volcan Rincon de la Vieja and Volcan Miravalles as well. The nearest town is Guayabo in the municipality of Bagaces in the Province of Guanacaste. From there, we can take you to nearby places, some of which may not easily be accessible by regular vehicle to see "the real Costa Rica".
This area is 700 meters above sea level and is cooler and fresher than at the beaches. It is so fresh you can almost "drink the air" here! As well, there is a vast diversity of flora and fauna not found at the beaches.
The duration of your adventure is dependent on where you want to go and what you want to do.

Our location is about 1-1/2 hours from the beach areas so tours up to 4 hours long can be completed in one day including transportation time to and from the beach. For longer tours, an overnight stay is recommended. Besides Cabina Mira Montes, other accommodations we recommend closeby are Rinconcito Lodge and Rincon de Gaetano.

Our courses have a variety of terrain designed to suit all skill levels. We can recommend tours to accommodate all levels of quadding skills. For our beginners or "never-evers", there are (relatively) flatter tracks for your first time fun. But off-road riding is all about natural terrain and not tarmac. So you can expect some bumps and dips.
There are also "challenging" areas for those who wish to experience a more extreme ride, including a number of inclines, sand holes and hills to try out.
