Hola everyone from the sun, sand, surf and mountains of Costa Rica. Flights to Costa Rica are increasing and the borders are opening. Time to plan your summer, fall, winter vacation in paradise. It seems finally the COVID pandemic is waning after 19 months and people can start get back to normal lives - hopefully. COVID numbers are dropping and the vaccinations are helping us get to herd immunity.
It has been a long difficult time for everyone and now it is time to get back to living.

Arenal Volcano a great place to visit. Take a nice break from the beach to take a tour or rent a car and drive out for the day. About 2 hours one way, this is a beautiful drive with lots of changes in scenery. A nice break from the beach. The roads are in good condition and you will enjoy the drive.

A project that will lower the minimum required investment to obtain Costa Rica residency has been signed into law by President Carlos Alvarado.

Project 22.156 will reduce the minimum capital investment for Costa Rica residency from $200,000 to $150,000.

In addition, the law includes incentives such as the tax-free importation of vehicles for personal or family use and a one-time tax exemption for importing household goods.
